From the Table Top
Another nostalgic memory I have from growing up is of the epic tales told by my father and uncles of their exploits around the D&D table.
I have spent some wonderful times dropping dice and painting tiny warriors with my friends. Here are some stories and painting projects from the Table Top.

My daughter and my most recent DnD Characters:
Vtipkar, Ember, H-RAC
and Harley the dog
My father's OG pewter DnD minis. I've loved these since I was a child and am proud to have them displayed in my mini collection.

I tried a new sponge painting technique on my first Baal Predator for the Blood Angels.
I like how battle-worn the finish turned out.
My first attempt at painting a Redemptor Dreadnaught.
I started pretty vanilla with the good ol' Ultramarines.

I love how the ooze turned out

I'm lucky to have a painter in the family. I got a good lesson in stippling and blending on this Lord of Hell.....
We call him
Doug the Demon
I got to experiment with my airbrush on this Giant Snake and custom Chuul model.

I love the detail on GW's models. This is the commander of a squad of Ultramarines.
This is my first squad of Ultramarines.
I learned a lot about color combinations from these guys...and to avoid gloss clearcoat
